To ensure a smooth experience using our Veritas Virtual Platform (VVP), powered by Kazm (formerly Junto), please follow this link, https://bit.ly/FacultyRoundtableDec21, and click on the RSVP button as pictured below. This guide is split into two sections. The first section is for new guests and returning guests who are not already logged in. The second section is for returning guests who are already logged in.
1. new Guests & Returning Guests who are not already logged in
First-time users who click on https://bit.ly/FacultyRoundtableDec21 should see a page like the one in the image below. The same is true for returning guests who are not already logged in. Either way, please click the RSVP button as indicated in the picture below.
After clicking the RSVP button as indicated above, you should see a window with four options to sign up for the Veritas Video Platform, powered by Kazm. Select whichever option you prefer, though signing in via email using your university email makes it easier for our different Roundtable sites to know which guests are coming from which university. If you are a returning guest, please choose whichever option you used last time. If you can’t remember, feel free to sign up by email.
We are using Kazm instead of Zoom because it has extra features geared toward fostering conversation and easier breakout room management across several universities.
If you choose to sign up via email, you will see a window pop up as in the image below. They just need your name, email, and ask that you create a password for added security. Whether you sign up via email or another option, this step helps us ensure that only registered Roundtable guests have access to our event.
If you’re a returning guest, select “Already a user? Sign in.” In the new “Sign-In” window, if you can’t remember your password, type in your email and select “Forgot Password.”
Once you’ve finished signing up, you should see a screen like the one below where the “RSVP” button now says “Starts Tomorrow” or something similar depending on how far you are from the time of the event. Right before the event starts, this button will change to something like “Enter the Conversation”, which is what you would press to enter the Roundtable. If you have any questions, feel free to reach out to our Mickey Sanchez at mickey.sanchez@intervarsity.org or via his mobile phone at 781-708-3573.
2. Returning guests who are already logged in
When returning users who are already logged in click on https://bit.ly/FacultyRoundtableDec21, they should see a similar page as shown below. Please click on the RSVP button as indicated below. You can tell that you are already logged in by seeing your profile picture, or a default profile image, at the upper right-hand side of the screen as indicated below.
